About Joplin Floor Designs

Samuel owns and manages a portfolio of rental properties in Southwest Missouri and Bentonville, AR. He was recently the OEM Sales Manager for Cardinal Scales collaborating with internal and external engineering departments to develop custom products, and served in several other roles involving Sales, R&D, and Acquisitions. Samuel is now the President of Joplin Floor Designs and manages operations.

Christina brings over 20 years of experience in commercial interior design, marketing and brand development, and strategic community planning with a focus on public service. She is employed at Corner Greer & Associates, a Joplin based architecture firm, as a project manager and designer. Christina’s role for JFD will be executive oversight, assisting with strategy for growth and marketing, while providing industry insight for commercial interiors.

Samuel and Christina have two young children and enjoy many adventures together, including renovating houses and restoring native habitat at their Joplin homestead.

Jerrod brings nearly 30 years of management and executive leadership experience. He is the CEO of OWN Engineering which employs 250 people and provides services nationwide. He is a serial entrepreneur and is dedicated to growing people, communities, and businesses. Jerrod’s role for JFD will be executive oversight and assisting with setting goals and strategy for growth, while providing valued industry connections.

Melissa owns and manages two Joplin-based companies and has a combined experience of 15 years of ownership and management in those businesses. She is an active community member and serves on the board of directors for local non-profit organizations. Melissa’s role at JFD will be executive oversight and assisting with setting goals and strategy for growth, while providing assistance with operations and finance.

Jerrod and Melissa have three kids and have worked together as a great team for the past 20 years. They have started and own multiple businesses and real estate investments and thrive on business adventures that strengthen their Joplin community.
